Darth Vader stands out as a major antagonist in the Star Wars universe. Disney’s 2012 purchase of Lucasfilm has only increased interest in the Star Wars saga and the legend of Darth Vader.
The villainous Sith Lord Darth Vader is one of the most recognizable figures in the Star Wars saga, making him an ideal Disney centennial mascot. As part of Disney’s centennial celebration, Funko has released several collectible figures based on well-known characters from the company’s flagship franchises, including R2-D2 from Star Wars.
