Have you seen the new Nike Dunk Low Black and University Gold? Over the past three years, the Nike Dunk Low has solidified its place in the world of sneakers. High-profile collaborations certainly contributed to its rise, but it’s the simplicity of two-tone color schemes that played a pivotal role in making this silhouette a success.
New Nike Dunk Low Black and University Gold Colorway:

As we approach November, we’re treated to a season-appropriate blend of “Black” and “University Gold,” a nod to Peter Moore’s iconic 1985 design. The color combination has earned the nickname “Reverse Goldenrod” among sneaker enthusiasts, a homage to the original Nike Dunk created for the University of Iowa as part of the “Be True to Your School” collection.

The design features deep black leather panels wrapping the toe, tongue, and heel, providing a vibrant yellow contrast in between. Notably, the profile swooshes boast unique details, including an exposed contrasting “University Gold” stitch at their center and a checkerboard-patterned tab near the lateral heel.

Moving to the collar, there’s a departure from the traditional Dunk design, featuring a textile build that continues on the tongues. The “Black/University Gold” branding on the tongue label and Achilles’ Heel keeps the theme consistent, while the sole units opt for a clean “White” look to let the upper shine and create a bold contrast with the dark-colored traction below.

Stay tuned for an official release date from Nike. As of now, the shoe is priced at $125 USD, so keep an eye out for updates. 👟🔥
