In the world of Funko Pop vinyl, Chase Funko Pops are slightly different from regular Pop Vinyls.

Before we get into whether or not they’re rare, let’s talk about what exactly a “chase” is.

What is a Chase Funko Pop?

These uncommon variations are slightly different from the original figure they are based on. Its distinctive golden sticker can identify it on the box’s front or altered appearance.

Because you never know when you might receive a Chase Pop, the price of the Chase when purchased brand-new from Pop In A Box is the same as that of the regular Pop.

A figure is listed on the website as having the Chase variant when it is produced.

This means you have a one in six chance of receiving a Chase variant when you purchase.

Are Chase Funko Pops Rare?

One lucky customer will receive a Chase variant for every six Funko Pops purchased from Pop In A Box.

This means these specific Funko variations are highly uncommon, as you can probably already guess.

It makes sense that figurines would be rarer the fewer of them were produced.

A Pop may be rare, but that doesn’t necessarily make them more valuable.

The Chase Pop Vinyl might not cost much more than a typical collectible if collectors aren’t thrilled about it.

Other Funko Pop Vinyl Variants:

Metallic

The only difference between metallic figures and their standard counterparts is that some paints have a metallic sheen.

Before you go…

Chase Funko Pops are one of the market’s most sought-after Funko Pop! variants. Unfortunately, they are rare and tend to command a premium price tag on eBay or other online retailers. However, there are also many other types of Funko Pops that collectors can look out for if they want something different from what’s already available in stores today.
