Given the variety of collectible figurines available from Funko, it can be difficult to know where to start. There’s practically something for everyone, from music, video games, Marvel superheroes, and more Star Wars figures than you can shake a lightsaber at.
In this article, we’ll look at ten Funko Pop Rocks you can add to your collection! So let’s dive right in!
Funko Pop Rocks to Collect:
Queen
In our best Funko Pop! Rocks guide, we had to include the famous Freddie Mercury of Queen, as you’ll see when you use the Funko Pop!
All three members of the band—Rocks Brian May, Roger Taylor, and John Deacon—are highlighted with their respective instruments.
But it’s no wonder Freddie steals the show with this incredible Funko Pop! Vinyl figurines of Freddie Mercury at Live Aid and the late Queen vocalist wearing his recognizable catsuit from the time of Bohemian Rhapsody.
Jimi Hendrix
One of the first artists to be immortalized in Funko Pop was guitar legend Jimi Hendrix. in vinyl.
The best one currently is the Jimi Hendrix at Woodstock, which features Hendrix sporting a red scarf and a Fender Strat.
It’s important to keep in mind that these items sell out quickly.
However, given Jimi’s popularity among music fans worldwide, we do not doubt that Funko will shortly release additional figures.
Motley Crue
Following the publication of their acclaimed Netflix documentary The Dirt, Motley Crue found themselves once again in the public eye.
Although their live return has been postponed, fans can still display the group on their shelves thanks to these magnificent figurines, which are dressed in their Shout At The Devil-era stage costumes.
Even these Funko Pop! Rocks Tommy Lee, Nikki Sixx, Vince Neil, and Mick Mars Vinyl figures should include a health and safety caution or, at the very least, some anti-bacterial wipes, as you will know if you’ve seen or read The Dirt.
Kiss
There is no collection of the best Funko Pop fans of music who wouldn’t have complete vinyl figures without Kiss.
Unfortunately, since the members of the iconic trailblazers have changed over the years, not everyone is available.
We’re big fans of Peter Criss because he comes with his own drum set.
However, Gene Simmons is trying to steal his thunder with that famous Demon tongue and a lit torch ready to breathe fire, which isn’t a bonus feature but is still pretty cool.
Guns N’ Roses
Guns N’ Roses have become rock’s most popular band again since at least some of the old band members got back together for their huge Not In This Lifetime tour.
Funko has also taken notice of this.
Even though the Duff McKagan figure is more recent, it has sunglasses.
On the other hand, the Slash and Axl Rose figures are right out of the late 1980s and early 1990s, when they were at the top of their game.
As good as this group is, it would be great if Funko made Steven Adler and Izzy Stradlin, the original members, join them.
Angus Young AC/DC
He’s the most famous Australian rock band AC/DC member, so it’s only fair that he has his collectible figure, the Funko Pop! Vinyl Angus Young shows the guitar god from Glasgow doing his famous duck walk and holding up his beautiful red Gibson SG.
Lemmy
Since Slash will always be remembered with a cigarette in his mouth, we’re surprised that Motorhead’s late, great icon Lemmy isn’t shown here drinking his favorite Jack and Coke.
Aside from that, this figure of Lemmy Kilmister in his signature outfit, complete with bass guitar, is as close to the real thing as you can get in the Funko Pop! Rocks line.
Metallica
Any Funko Pop! figure. Without Metallica, rock music wouldn’t be as diverse as it is.
The current band members, James Hetfield, Lars Ulrich, Kirk Hammett, and Robert Trujillo, have been immortalized by the Funko team, so we can now have our mini versions of them.
Even though you can’t get Jason Newstead or Cliff Burton, you can get the Funko Pop! From their classic, Lady Justice.
And Justice For All album and the tour that followed, where she famously broke up on stage.
Blink-182
Tom DeLonge has, for now, passed up the opportunity to have his own Funko Pops figure because he left the band in 2015 to lead extraterrestrial investigations, which seem to have had some success.
Mark Hoppus and Travis Barker, former bandmates, don’t have this issue, which is why they are highlighted here.
Travis’ tattoo collection is constantly growing, so you might need to break out the felt-tip pens and your hand-drawn doodles to keep him current.
Kurt Cobain
We’ll never know what Nirvana’s anti-celebrity frontman would have thought of being turned into a tiny Pop toy, but the Funko Pop!
Being a very excellent addition to your constantly growing collection, Rocks Kurt Cobain.
A Kurt Cobain MTV Unplugged figure is also available, featuring Kurt dressed in his cardigan and strumming an acoustic guitar.
We especially adore this one because it transports us back to that well-known performance.
