Funko Pops have become a popular collectible item in recent years. With their unique designs and wide range of characters, it’s no surprise that they have gained a massive following.

However, with so many different figures available, it can be difficult to determine the value of your collection. In this guide, we’ll provide an overview of Funko Pop collector value and prices to help you understand the worth of your collection. So read on!

How Much Does A Funko Pop Cost?

The price of a Funko Pop figure is determined by several factors, including the rarity and demand for that particular figurine. The rarer it is (mainly if it’s sold out or retired), the higher its price tag.

Similarly, if you’re looking for a specific Funko pop in mint condition with all its accessories, you’ll have to pay more than someone who wants a regular version in reasonable shape.

The most valuable Funko Pops are highly sought after by collectors and those who want them regardless of their condition.

This includes limited edition pieces (which may be worth upwards of $20); exclusive variants; store exclusives; convention exclusives; first series releases, unique packagings like glow-in-the-dark or metallic variants, etc.

Unfortunately, with all these variables considered, there’s no easy way to predict how much your collection will be worth!

How Do You Know If A Funko Pop Is Rare?

Several things can affect Funko Pop Collector’s value:

  • First edition mark (the year of release)
  • The number on the box
  • Box size and condition
  • Boxes with less than 10,000 copies will be worth more than those with a print run of over 10,000 copies. The same goes for boxes in excellent or mint condition vs. ones in poor or used condition.
  • A unique design
  • A unique color
  • A unique accessory

What Are The Factors That Affect Funko Pop Collector Value?

Now that you have a good understanding of what Funko Pop collectors are and how they can be classified, it’s time to figure out whether or not your collection is worth anything. Here are some important factors that affect Funko Pop collector value:

Rarity – The rarer a Funko Pop figure is, its value will be higher. If you’re looking to sell off your collection, it’s best to find one of these rarer Pops first!

Some have only been released in certain parts of the country or even just once in general; others have been discontinued by Funko entirely due to low demand.

Condition – As with any collectible item, condition matters when determining how much money something could go for on the open market.

If you want people buying from your store rather than someone else’s shop online (or eBay), ensure all items come in mint condition with their original packaging intact and free from damage or wear and tear.

Popularity – Different characters will naturally appeal more strongly than others based on fan interest levels. And this translates into demand for those specific pieces among collectors on a large scale as well as individual sellers looking for ways to get rid of those old toys gathering dust around their houses!

For example, Darth Vader may not necessarily be considered “cool” anymore. Still, he was popular enough when first released back during Star Wars’ heyday, so chances are better than average chance there’ll still be plenty of interested buyers who’d love having him hanging out next door to theirs while they’re away at work all day long.”

Examples of Funko Pop with Collector Value?

1. Green Lantern (Glow in the Dark)

Based on the 2011 movie, The Green Lantern, this Funko Pop wasn’t expected to be one of the rarest Funkos out there! It wasn’t expected to be a crowd favorite due to the flop of its movie. However, when this Funko was released at San Diego Comic-Con, collectors couldn’t resist getting their hands on this piece because some say it’s aesthetically pleasing. Also, there were only 240 pieces in existence! Talk about rare.

2. Loki (The Avengers) – $1,200.00

Who doesn’t know Loki? The Lord of Mischief, the adopted son of Odin and the brother of Thor. This piece was released at San Diego Comic-Con back in 2012.

What’s interesting about this piece is that Funko initially released a complete set of the Avengers which only covered the heroes but not the villains.

Fans were disappointed when this happened, so when they released a set of heroes and villains, fans were ecstatic to see their wishes being fulfilled by Funko!

3. Star Wars (Shadow Trooper) – $1,500.00

Another Comic-Con exclusive, this Funko Pop is one of the hardest ones to find! The Star Wars Shadow Trooper was not produced much, with only 480 pieces distributed! This is one of the rarest Star Wars Funkos out there!

4. Silver Batman- $1,600.00

Funko Pop is known for different variations for any character. For example, this Silver Batman is one variation they have for Batman.

This was released as a reward for Hot Topic employees who’ve done well. This was released in 2015. Since they were given to employees and never had an official release, they became rare.

5. Dumbo (Clown Face & Gold) – $2,500.00

Dumbo is one of the most beloved characters in Disney. So it’s no question why people would put it in their collection.

This Dumbo variation is one of three. The clown face, the gold one, and the metallic blue. The amazing thing about this piece is that only 48 pieces were released for the clown face and gold variations and 480 pieces for the metallic blue.
